However I was awake and my alarm would go off in 30 minutes.

I try to go for a 26 km bike ride five mornings out of seven. It gives me a chance to think and sometimes come up with a haiku or two.

Every summer for the last 9 years I have climbed Mount Vimy with at least one member of my family. Lesley and I have climbed it several times and my daughter Meghann has gone up with me a few times.
It is always a thrill to stand at the summit and look out at the other mountain tops which are at eye level.
