I watched them beat the Montreal Canadiens in 1967 for the Stanley Cup. They have not won one since and are frequently scorned and mocked because of that fact. There are two teams in Alberta and I considered supporting the Edmonton Oilers at one time but I found I just couldn't do it. The Leafs seem to be imprinted on me.
